The Conservation Leadership Initiative at Texas State University’s River Systems Institute directed by Dr. Rudy Rosen is designed to ultimately offer coursework and web-based information to undergraduates, graduate students, international students, and practicing professionals on the management and administration of nonprofit conservation organizations. The Leadership Initiative will provide opportunities for research and support student internship opportunities.

H2O — Headwaters to Ocean managed by Dr. Rudy Rosen
Funded by a grant from the Ewing Halsell Foundation, H2O seeks solutions to a growing crisis in education
H2O is an inquiry-based educational experience that uses advanced digital interactive learning opportunities designed around the theme of “Headwaters to Ocean” as well as outdoor education opportunities designed to complement and leverage existing programs in water education. Features include innovative curricula, materials, and delivery methods that will use emerging web-based and mobile technologies coupled with time-tested hands-on in-the-watershed experience for participants in a networked array of schools and education organizations.
